Reservation Rewards complaint by Madigan
These two services, which are run by the same organization, do provide the services as promised but at a price. There have been countless unwary online shoppers whom have fallen victim to these "rewards" programs.

The practice of the customer being automatically redirected to the webpage offering the service is bad enough. Plus I'm sure the online store is no doubt getting a piece of the action for every customer who unwittingly falls prey to this scam. Let them know how you feel about this. Post the names of the online stores on every blog site you come across. Make them feel ashamed by attempting to squeeze a few more pennies out of loyal customers. Contact your local television station and have them research this. Bring them to their knees and shut them down.

Remember what happened to Circuit City and the DivX program they tried to offer the consumer a few years ago? Circuit City was down for the count on that scheme. Believe me, they are watchful!

I just found out these scumbags have been charging my credit card $20 a month ($10 each) since mid- 2007 until now (July 2008). If so many people don't know about your charges, how can they you say that customers intended to do business with them? They may slip their language in to preprinted forms, purposely hoping not to be noticed. This is the same ripoff tactic that has been used by people for hundreds of years since the first written contracts.

I have called the reservation rewards number 800-732-7031 several times and it drops the call after selecting cancellation of service.

I just got through and it asked for my CC number, now I am on hold for next avail. rep...

Rep was very nice and assured me it would be cancelled and the last months fee returned because this is the second time I have tried to cancel.

I gave my rewards number and email address.

This service leeched on to me via an AmTrak ticket purchase.

:(

I was unaware that I would be charged monthly to my checking account for the Reservation Rewards and Shopper discount & rewards. I do NOT wish to participate with this program and want these charges discontinued immediatly from my checking account.
